Faodail Landscapes takes its name from Gaelic for ‘lucky find’.
Established in 2022, the company was created through friends Chris Wright and Euan Douglas. Both sharing a passion for the environment and outdoor spaces, the company was set up after gaining invaluable experience working alongside award winning designers and landscapers which nurtured their understanding of the physical and mental benefits an outdoor space can bring.
Quality, attention to detail and respect are imperative when considering each build. Here at Faodail nothing short of excellence should be expected.

Euan Douglas – Director
Euan’s understanding of the mental and physical benefits of the great outdoors was one of the things that drew him to landscaping and being able to work in nature. In his previous role he worked as a foreman whist completing his Bachelors in Design Engineering with Honours. He was a key member of a landscaping team, running various projects while also passing on his skills to others. After working with an award winning company he decided to start his own business to continue his development in the landscaping industry. Euan enjoys getting involved in bespoke projects and working closely with clients to help them create gardens they’ll love.
Chris Wright – Director
Chris has always had a keen interest in the outdoors and from a very young age enjoyed helping his parents in their garden. This interest was furthered whilst at school, when he worked for a local Landscaping company through summer holidays. After finishing High School he moved to Edinburgh and completed a Masters degree in Landscape Architecture. His passion has always been hands on, learning new skills and working on exciting new building projects. Since graduating Chris has developed his skills as a Landscaper and worked in a Foreman/Senior Foreman role for the past 12 years.
