1. Acceptance of the Quotation (fixed cost) or Estimate (costing where there are items clearly highlighted and agreed as a contingency sum / To Be Confirmed) means that the client has read and understood the terms and conditions set out.  Any queries should be clarified before the work commences.

2. All contracts must be confirmed in writing before the work commences. Email is acceptable and this ensures that the contract is legally binding.

3. Any alterations to the contract must be agreed in writing before the additional work commences. Additional charges will be agreed between the client and Faodail Landscapes.

4. Should additional work arise from the build process, such as discovery of services or undisclosed sub ground structures, then an agreed cost for the work must be in writing before the additional work commences.

4. We ask that surrounding neighbours will be notified of the work prior to the start date. Noise and disruption will be kept to the absolute minimum but still to be expected. Faodail Landscapes will not be involved in any disputes between the client and neighbours. Any changes to the design that arise form disputes must be in writing.

5. The Client should inform Faodail Landscapes regarding any springs, flooding, rock, mine workings, covered wells or other cavities, service pipes and cables, sewage or land drains, foundations and sub-structures of former buildings or other hazards or obstructions except those which are reasonably apparent by inspection of the site prior to the date of the Contract.

6. All planning permission must be obtained by the client prior to work commencing. Faodail Landscapes will not be responsible or involved with any disputes with the local authorities.

7. An initial payment consisting of the full material cost will be agreed between the client and Faodail Landscapes. Further payments will be agreed before work commences through a payment plan.

8. Faodail Landscapes cannot accept any responsibility for damage caused by natural circumstances.

9. Quotes are valid for 60 days from date of issue as material costs are fluid.

10. Late payment of invoices will be defined by ‘beyond 28 days of completion’. The client will be notified in writing when the job has been completed. If this occurs we have the right to enforce a late payment fee of 10% interest per month.
